Budapest and Krakow
After my two weeks in Germany, I was lucky enough to extend my stay in Europe an extra week and travel to Budapest and Krakow. Two very different cities that I have always wanted to visit. Budapest is a grand capital situated on the Danube River with the Buda Castle on one side and the Parliament Building on the Pest side. Krakow, is best described as the "Boston" of Poland. It's a medieval city that was once the home of many Polish Kings and Pope John Paul II. Nearby, is Auschwitz and other concentration camps that remind us of a darker side of history.
