Berlin, the capital city of Germany, stands as Germany's largest city. Post WWII, Berlin became a focal point of the Cold War. With the Berlin Wall in place the tone for a ideologically divided world was set. Following reunification, Berlin continued to thrive. It is a city full of diversity, a strong art scene, nightlife, and booming economics.

Sachsenhausen
Sachsenhausen concentration camp, built in 1936, sits right outside of Berlin. Sachsenhousen housed over 200,000 prisoners many of whom were first put there as political prisoners. However, as the Nazi regime's power increased prisoners began to include those who the Nazi's felt were racially or biologically inferior.
